Talma Fastener Corporation was established in 1964 with a similar expertise of economically producing custom products. With one of the widest ranges of length, diameter, geometry and value-added secondary operations in the cold heading industry, we deliver experience, process diversity, creative design and in-house tooling capability to our customers in the power transmission, automotive and construction industries, among others.

Cold Heading:

• Cold heading entails rapidly forging wire rod using punches and dies without heat. Capable of producing more than 7000 pieces per hour, it yields exceptionally accurate parts with outstanding surface finishes with little or no scrap. These parts typically exhibit superior mechanical properties versus machined parts due to improved grain structure.
• Our production machinery includes more than 35 headers, bolt makers, nut formers and parts formers with capacities over 1" in cutoff diameter and up to 10" in length
• We offer no minimums, PPAP fulfillment, in-house tooling and amortized tooling fees when applicable.
