In 1989 Jerry Arnold began his career in the jewelry business as a full time salesperson with Fox's Jewelers in the Logansport Mall. He quickly moved up to Assistant manager and then to manager in 1992. Jerry managed the Logansport Mall Fox's and the Lafayette, Indiana Tippecanoe Mall Fox's Jewelry stores until 1997 when Fred Meyer Jewelers of Portland, Oregon acquired the 45 store Fox's chain.
